Mr. Agudo’s 35-year executive corporate career began with PPG Industries Inc., where he served 27 years in the US and Europe, including his role as PPG’s GM of the European F/G Group in Paris and The Netherlands. After heading global SBU’s with Saint Gobain in Paris and Owens Corning, Mr. Agudo founded Global Advisors Group LLC in 2011, to guide globalization activities for Chinese SOEs and generate M&A foreign investment into the US and Europe. In 2014, Mr. Agudo founded Global Directors Group LLC, partnering with Private Equity firms to promote and expand value creation in their industrial portfolio. Mr. Agudo holds a BA Degree from Indiana University of Pa., a MBA in International Business from the University of Pittsburgh, and he is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Dutch . Mr. Agudo has guest lectured at the University of Miami.
Mr. Hood’s served 22 years with PPG Industries Inc. as part of a 30 year plus executive career. During his time with PPG he was European Finance Director for the Industrial Coatings group and the Fiber Glass group. Mr. Hood’s experience includes multiple global acquisitions, investment modelling and strategic financial planning. He is currently serving as COO and President of Global Directors Group. Mr. Hood focuses on Strategy, Finance and Capital optimization strategies, supporting GDG’s clients in fully aligning strategic intent, with Top-Down planning Financial and Capital strategies. Mr. Hood holds a B.Sc from Birmingham University, a Diploma in Manufacturing Management from Warwick University and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
Mr. McDonald’s 39-year career included sales, marketing, distribution and finance roles with global responsibility. His most recent assignment was President for NEG-US a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Electric Glass headquartered in Japan. Prior to this role he was the global vice president for PPG Industries Fiber Glass division. Mr. McDonald was instrumental in the sale of PPG’s fiber glass division including 2 joint ventures in Asia and subsequently the European and America business. In 2015, Kevin received the Leadership Excellence Award from the Pennsylvania Diversity Board. Additionally, Kevin served as Chairman of PFG (PPG and Nan-Ya Plastics joint venture) from 2014-2016, twice served on the board of the American Composites Manufacturers Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mafic a basalt fiber manufacturer. Kevin is a graduate of Indiana University and earned his MBA degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Ms. Beatriz P. Robles is an Attorney and International Investment Banker, with 18 years experience in Finance, including 15 years in the 4th largest Financial Institution in Spain, where she held various executive positions within the International Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions Area as Head of North America and Europe, Head of Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific, Head of Spanish Financial Institutions and Head of Development Banks and Multilateral Institutions. In such roles, Ms. Perez Robles was responsible for Institutional and business relationships with large corporations, banks and Multilateral Institutions, and was involved in the overall financing and corporate assets divestitures activities at the operational and Board levels. Ms. Pérez Robles has a J.D. Law Degree, and Masters in Finance and Corporate Banking. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mr. Goodwill has over 40 years’ experience in the industrial sector and a wide knowledge of fiber glass global operations gained in dealing with multinational companies, governmental bodies, various Standards Institutions and approval authorities. His industrial career started in 1970 with the UK company T & N – TBA Glass Fiber Division, where he was responsible for all technical service activities. In 1988, he was actively involved in PPG’s acquisition of TBA. At PPG, he was European Technical Service Manager and, as PPG expanded globally, Mr. Goodwill undertook the responsibility for successful global product transfer and customer acceptance of PPG Joint Venture-produced products, and managed the PPG applications center in the U.K. His primary focus has been Total Quality Management (TQM), product management, global product rationalization, market development and customer satisfaction for all product offerings. Initially qualified as both a graduate Mechanical and Electrical engineer, Mr. Goodwill has served as Chairman of several ISO and British Standards committees and he has acted as Lead Assessor for ISO 9000 Quality System audits. His extensive global business activities have taken him from Europe and North America, to the Middle East, China and Australia. Mr. Goodwill is a visiting Professor at Cambridge University in the U.K.
Mr. Rutherford has had more than 30 years’ experience with the Glass Fiber Group of PPG Industries, accumulating significant and in-depth expertise in manufacturing and operations leadership, team building, strategic and vision planning and profit growth. He has hands-on experience in sales and marketing, cost reduction, employee management and productivity, quality and process control, systems and processes to improve efficiencies, construction project management and facility management. In broader areas, he also has experience in joint ventures, franchising, licensing, contract negotiations and labor union negotiations. He spent much of his professional career as an executive with a Fortune 500 company, PPG Industries, where he spent many years in operations and then moved into general management. This included serving as Managing Director for the business in England and Division General Manager of Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
Tom has over 35 years of experience in glass manufacturing in both float and fiber glass industries. Beginning with Ford Motor Company, responsibilities included technical support in the Nashville Float Glass Plant and research engineering in the Dearborn Research Center.
The last 25 years of his career were spent with PPG Fiber Glass. Beginning as a production engineer in the Shelby Plant, he served in roles in operations management and furnace rebuild coordination. In 1988 he moved to Venezuela to lead and manage PPG's joint venture plant start up with a South American textile company. Returning to the US at the Lexington Plant, he served in roles of increasing responsibility in operational management until moving to England in 1994 as operations manager in Wigan.
In 1999 he was assigned to Fiber Glass Engineering, serving in the role of Manager- Global Glass Melting Operations. In this role, he was responsible for ensuring all PPG plants were operating within defined best practices, troubleshooting manufacturing problems around the world, and identifying /implementing the latest technology applicable to the PPG process. He led the Glass Melting Technology team made up of representatives from domestic and foreign plants, engineering, and research to make sure that fiber glass achieved and maintained a competitive advantage. In Tom's roles with PPG, he has had experience or assignments in all their manufacturing plants- both foreign and domestic. He has a BS and MS in Ceramic Engineering and now resides in Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Mahalik is a seasoned and experienced professional in the field of sales, marketing and general management both in India, Asia Pacific & now West Africa, working in various capacities in large Indian and transnational corporations such as Reliance Industries, GE, Saint-Gobain, Owens Corning, Tyco Sanmar and others in a career spanning over 25 years. He has taken up international assignments based out of Shanghai and Lagos and managed global portfolios. His core competencies include profit and loss management, change management, mergers and acquisitions, turnaround and restructuring, strategy development, business development and new product management, to name a few. Mr. Mahalik has sound business acumen and is a multitasker who is analytical in approach, comfortable in the global environment, well-networked and culturally sensitive. He is a chemical engineer by education with an MBA in Marketing from a well-respected Indian management school.
Mr. Oramas served with AOC for 35 years with his most recent role as Vice President-Sales Americas in the post CVC Capital Partners acquisition. Prior to that, Mr. Oramas served as Vice President-USA & Canada Sales for 9 years delivering record results in the 2016-2018 period. Mr. Oramas also had roles as Business Manager and as Director of International Operations, among others. He served as a member of the board of directors of AOC Mexicana and was instrumental in the negotiation of that JV. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida, an MBA from St. Thomas University, and is a graduate from The Advanced Management Program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
